Access Referral Network asks: Why do we ask our Basic Members to list 'miscellaneous' information?

Consumers want in-depth information, and they want to be confident that the professional they seek has the skills, background and personality they want.

They want as much as possible about a professional before making a final decision to invest time and money seeking services.

List as much information as possible, but keep it concise!

Media groups also prefer to have as much detail as possible. This helps make their job easier if they decide to contact you for interviews.

Community or 'non--business' involvement shows interest in others.

Involvement in professional organizations and activities indicate your value of current dialogues and research with peer professional in your field.

Leadership roles (workshop presenter, award recipient, offices held, etc.) indicate an individual actively involved in his/her profession.

During the testing of this site, we actually asked consumers what information they wanted to see about professionals. The resulting design, information requested from members who register, languages spoken, office hours listing, ‘contact me for an appointment’ email feature, and even the photos, are from their feedback.

Let your web-page on our site work for you! Give consumers the information they need!
